HBOC Cancer Risks

BRACAnalysis® is the genetic test for determining a patient's risk of developing hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC). Patients testing positive for a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation have up to a 92 percent risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer or both, by age 70.3, 4, 5 Mutation carriers previously diagnosed with cancer have a significantly increased risk of developing second cancers.16
