The BRCA Risk Calculator is based on data, which will be updated periodically, that represent observations of deleterious mutations by Myriad Genetic Laboratories through its clinical testing service. Data obtained through testing performed under specific research protocols is not included. The data were obtained from a routine laboratory requisition form and have not been independently verified by Myriad Genetic Laboratories. Patients for whom relevant information was not provided were not included in this tabulation. The data on individuals with Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry are for patients tested only for three prevalent founder mutations as well as patients tested by full sequence analysis. Download the BRCA Risk Calculator for Palm
Download and unzip the BRCACalc.zip file. Once you have extracted the BRCACalc.prc from the zip file, you should be able to double click it in order to launch your Palm Desktop install tool software. Click done, and the program will be installed on your handheld the next time you perform a HotSync operation. In order to update this application, you will need to re-download and re-install the BRCACalc.zip file when it is updated online.

Download the BRCA.exe file. Then double click the exe file to launch the BRCA Risk Calculator setup program that will take you through the installation process. During the installation process, you will be able to select Palm or Windows CE depending on which device you are using. In order to update this application, you will need to re-download and re-install the BRCA.exe program when it is updated online.
Download the BRCA Risk Calculator for PC Desktop
Download the BRCAPC.exe file. Then double click the exe file to launch the BRCA Risk Calculator setup program and follow the prompts. Once installed, you will be able to upgrade the date in the PC Desktop program by clicking on the "Get Latest Data" link at the top right of the program window. To see how current your data is, look for the "Last Update" field in the "About" section of the program.
Download the brca.pdb Database File
If you are receiving database errors, you may just need to download the brca.pdb file. Once you have downloaded brca.pdb, double click on the item to run it. Palm Quick Install will open, select the Palm to copy to. Press OK and on next HotSync the files will be installed.
