BREAST AND OVARIAN CANCER—KNOW YOUR RISK

If you have a personal or family history of cancer, the disease may come from an inherited genetic condition known as hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) syndrome. This condition is caused by changes, or "mutations" in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes and passed down from parent to child.

Families with HBOC syndrome tend to have more cases of breast and ovarian cancer than average families. Cancer often happens at a younger age and across generations.

Act Now to Help Reduce Cancer Risk

BRACAnalysis® is a genetic test to find out if you have a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation that increases cancer risk. A simple blood draw or oral rinse is all it takes to obtain a test sample. Knowing the results may make a world of difference, by empowering you and your doctor to take steps to reduce your risk for cancer.
