The OnDose™ Process — From Blood Collection to Optimized Dose
Receiving - Start with the OnDose kit, which comes with the necessary supplies and detailed sampling instructions.
Collecting - Draw peripheral venous blood into the supplied K2-EDTA tube. Blood must be collected at least 2 hours after the beginning of continuous
infusion and before the end of infusion (as long as pump is still running).
Preparing - Immediately dispense the OnDose Stabilizer into the blood sample to
prevent any sample degradation. Centrifuge the sample and aspirate
plasma into the supplied specimen container.
Sending - Send plasma specimen, OnDose Test Request Form, and appropriate
patient forms in the supplied FedEx Clinical Pak® to Myriad.
Adjusting - An individualized report is generated and results are returned (usually
within 7 days) in time to make therapeutic adjustments for the next
cycle of treatment.
